This was supposed to be a legacy but it's turned into a story...

Anyway, this story is inspired by favorite books, movies, television shows and personal experiences.

Life is not a fairy tale but that doesn't mean it's not beautiful. After all, you love people in spite of their flaws, and sometimes their flaws make you love them even more.

Chapter 1.6 - Super-Fun

Saturday morning dawned bright and beautiful.  We started the day on Nate's swings.  His kiss still burned on my lips from the other night.  He had been tender and his embrace had been warm.  I didn't want him to let me go.  His thin frame felt strangely safer than Carter's muscular one.  I wondered if he was as gentle a lover.

After the swings, we made our way to the Scenic Outlook.  Teen usually came out here at night to fool around but during the day, the park normally attracted families.  Today, there was a game at the Stadium and we had the place to ourselves.

Nate was so easy to be around.  He made me laugh and when I was around him, I didn't give a fig about what anyone else was thinking.  I didn't know it was possible to feel so carefree.  I felt as light and frothy as a Starbuck's Caramel Machiatto.

We decided to head back to my place to watch a movie and start back up again tomorrow morning.  But when we got home, I was in for quite a surprise.

My house had been redecorated while I was out for the day.  The walls had been papered, there were wood floors and upgraded furniture.

Who had snuck into my home and done all of this in such a short amount of time?  Then I spotted a note that satisfied all of my unanswered questions.

When Nate walked through the door, he was neither amused nor impressed.  "Carter," he hissed.

"Nate I really like the new look regardless of who did it.  I found this note," I said, handing him the Post-It.  "Please don't be upset."

He agreed that the renovation did look nice after all.  Rather than forcing him to watch a chick flick, we compromised by choosing a nature show.  It sure looked nice on the new, bigger television!

The bed was still a single (I'm sure Carter did NOT do that on accident) and Nate was a gentleman anyway.  He offered to take the couch.  I had spent a long time imagining this moment - the first overnight stay- and it was almost impossible to sleep knowing my future was resting as little as five feet away from me.

  1. Nice touch incorporating that real picture of a post-it for the story. I enjoyed the story and I like Nate infinitely more than any of the others, he is more down to earth.

  2. Nate is different from any Sim male I have ever created. They are so cute in game always trying to kiss. And with Twallan's Woohooer, I gauged their attraction for each other and it's very high. I think I should stop torturing them and let them be together.
